All NVTBL Coaches, Administrators and those who come in contact with youth players are required to have a standard background check.  The background check must be less than 1 year old throughout that current season.  For 2022, all background checks should be 1/1/2022 or later.  

Our recommendation is the USA Baseball Background Check.  NVTBL has partnered with them and the cost is only $6 per check.  Any standard background check will be accepted for the fall 2019 season but we will be asking everyone to move towards the USA Baseball Background Check in future seasons.  Through their Pure Baseball Compliance Program, USA Baseball is also offering a FREE Abuse Awareness program for all adults.  We highly recommend that you take this short course online as well.  Please see the document below for specific instructions on USA-B background checks and the abuse awareness course.
