Beloved Coach Passes Away

NVTBL and our community in general has lost a beloved coach, father and husband.  Please consider making a donation to the children's education fund.  See below:


Thomas J. Gauzer, 37 of Burke, VA formerly of Chenango Forks, passed away unexpectedly on April 14, 2017 in Cleveland, OH. He was born on April 3, 1980 in Binghamton a son of John and Cheryl (Calice) Gauzer. 

He is survived by his wife, Mamiko Gauzer and sons, Alex, age 10, Liam, age 7 and Luke, age 2 of Burke, VA; his parents, John and Cheryl Gauzer of Chenango Forks; his sister, Callie Gauzer of Boston, and several extended family.

Tom was a graduate of the University of Phoenix and Chenango Valley High School, where he was an active athlete. He proudly served in the US Navy and the Navy Reserves. He was an investigator for the Judge Advocate General and Department of Defense. Tom was a devoted husband and father who just lived for his family. He was also an active member of his community and a volunteer coach for several little league baseball teams. He touched many lives and would do anything to help anyone in need. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. 

Friends may call at the Kennedy Funeral Home, 21 N. Chenango St., Greene on Thursday, April 20, 2017 from 10:00 AM until noon. Memorial services will be held at noon.
